Manchester City are reportedly preparing a double raid on Boca Juniors for teenagers Exequiel Zeballos and Valentin Barco.
The Citizens have already delved into the Argentinian market this year with the acquisition of River Plate forward Julian Alvarez, who will remain on loan with the Primera Division champions until July at the earliest.
However, Argentinian news outlet Bola VIP reports that Zeballos and Barco have both been identified by City's scouts as potential targets next summer.
Zeballos, a 19-year-old winger who can also operate as a centre-forward, scored one and registered one assist in 11 appearances for Boca Juniors across all competitions in 2021.
Meanwhile, 17-year-old left-back Barco has only featured three times for the senior side, all of which were in July last year.
While City remain on the lookout for some of the brightest young talents in world football, Pep Guardiola's priority is the signing of a striker, with the Premier League leaders allegedly leading the race for Erling Braut Haaland's signature.
