Manchester City are reportedly not interested in signing Martin Odegaard despite suggestions that the Premier League champions were planning a move for the Real Madrid attacker.
Odegaard, who joined Madrid from Stromsgodset in 2015, is currently on loan at Real Sociedad, and the Norway international has made an impressive start to the 2019-20 campaign.
A whole host of Premier League clubs - including City, Arsenal and Manchester United - have been credited with an interest in a player who debuted for Los Blancos on the final weekend of the 2014-15 campaign.
However, according to the Manchester Evening News, Pep Guardiola's side are not in the running for the versatile attacker due to the presence of Phil Foden at the Etihad Stadium.
Odegaard turned down a host of interest to move to the Bernabeu in January 2015, but the Norwegian has only made two first-team appearances for his parent club.
Madrid reportedly inserted a £311m release clause into the youngster's contract upon his arrival at the Bernabeu.
