Manchester City beat Barcelona to the signature of Juventus teenager Pablo Moreno, according to a report.

Manchester City have reportedly beaten Barcelona to the signature of Juventus teenager Pablo Moreno.

The 18-year-old came through the youth system at Barca before joining Juve in July 2018.

According to Marca, the Spanish champions were keen to re-sign the attacker during this summer's transfer window, but City have won the race for the Spain Under-18 international.

The report claims that the deal will be made official at the start of next week, with the Premier League giants expected to pay €10m (£9m) to bring him to the Etihad Stadium.

Moreno will allegedly pen a four-year contract with Pep Guardiola's side, and the move could see Portugal Under-19 international Felix Correia move in the opposite direction.

The Spaniard, who was named on Juve's bench against Genoa in Serie A last season, could be loaned out by the Citizens for the 2020-21 campaign to continue his development.
