Ligue 2 leaders Monaco are reportedly planning a £35m swoop for Manchester City duo Carlos Tevez and Samir Nasri during the summer.
The French club, who appear to be nearing an immediate return to the top flight of French football, are bankrolled by billionaire Dimitry Rybolovlev.
The Russian businessman has informed the club's board that he is prepared to finance a deal that would allow the City pair to sign on at the Stade Louis II, providing that the team seal promotion, according to Goal.com.
It has also been claimed that Rybolovlev is eager to tempt City manager Roberto Mancini to Southern France and will offer the Italian around £7m per year to leave the Premier League champions.
