Roma president James Pallotta has insisted that the Italian club will not sell Daniele de Rossi in the January transfer window.
The 29-year-old, who is regarded as one of the best midfielders in world football, has been strongly linked with moves to both Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain.
However, Palotta has claimed that the club "have absolutely no intention" of selling the defensive midfielder in the winter window.
He told Corriere dello Sport: "We have absolutely no intention of selling De Rossi. We have not had any contact from anyone and we have not received any offers. It is just speculation."
De Rossi has five years remaining on his current contract.
