Toni Kroos, Luis Suarez on Manchester City radar?

New Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola will follow up the signings of Ilkay Gundogan and Nolito by making bids for Toni Kroos and Luis Suarez, a report claims.

Pep Guardiola is reportedly planning an audacious £148m double swoop to bring Toni Kroos and Luis Suarez to Manchester City.

The new Citizens boss, who has already lured Ilkay Gundogan and Nolito to the Etihad Stadium since arriving this summer, is said to be desperate to make a couple more big-name signings.

Kroos has a £63m release clause in his Real Madrid contract, while a Premier League return for Barcelona striker Suarez would likely cost around £85m.

According to The Sun, Guardiola is a huge admirer of both players and will put the wheels in motion to try to sign them in the coming weeks.

Guardiola worked with Kroos at Bayern before he was sold to Madrid in 2014.
