Paul Pogba to reject Manchester United for Spanish switch?

Paul Pogba is to turn down an £80m bid from Manchester United in order to push through a move to either Barcelona or Real Madrid, according to a report.

Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba will reportedly reject a move to the Premier League with Manchester United as he prefers a switch to Spanish football.

The 23-year-old, who is currently on international duty with France at Euro 2016, has been heavily linked with a return to former club Manchester United over the past 12 months.

Pogba's agent is said to have held talks with Juventus last month following weeks of constant speculation over the Frenchman's future, with some reports suggesting that an £80m bid has been tabled by the Red Devils.

According to The Sun, however, Pogba is instead holding out for a move to either Real Madrid or Barcelona rather than returning to the club that let him go in 2012 after making just three senior appearances.

It is also claimed that, should he be pushed towards making a switch to England, the Juventus ace would favour a move to Manchester City where he would link up with former Barca boss Pep Guardiola at the Etihad Stadium.

United have already signed Eric Bailly and Zlatan Ibrahimovic this summer, while Henrikh Mkhitaryan is also on the verge of penning a contract at Old Trafford.
