Manchester United's Ryan Giggs: "We could have scored more"

Ryan Giggs says that Manchester United could have scored more than the five goals they did against Bayer Leverkusen in Germany.

Manchester United winger Ryan Giggs believes that he and his teammates could have scored more goals against Bayer Leverkusen at the BayArena on Wednesday.

The Red Devils scored twice in the first half and three times in the second to register a 5-0 win in their Champions League Group A clash.

"We really killed them on the counter-attack, the first goal was an example of that and it was pleasure to play behind the front four," BBC Sport quotes the 39-year-old as saying.

"Saying that we could have scored more goals but we don't want to be too greedy and to score five goals anywhere in Europe is brilliant."

The win saw United progress to the last 16 of the competition.
