Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels wants to stop his top teammates leaving the club.

Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels has said that he wants to stop the recent exodus of top players from the club.

BVB have lost their two chief playmakers at the end of the last two seasons, with Shinji Kagawa joining Manchester United last summer while Mario Gotze's move to Dortmund's opponents this evening, Bayern Munich, has already been confirmed.

Gotze, who misses tonight's game due to a hamstring injury, is set to be followed to the Allianz Arena by Dortmund's number one striker, Robert Lewandowski, during the summer.

"They are not going to get any worse are they?" said Hummels.

"Not if they keep taking our players."

Hummels, who has himself been linked with a move to Barcelona, has shrugged off a foot injury to feature this evening.
