Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has been named the Premier League Midfielder of the Season in the annual Sports Mole Reader Awards.
Fernandes directly contributed to 30 goals in his 37 Premier League appearances in 2020-21, scoring 18 times and creating a further 12 for his teammates.
The Portuguese playmaker, who was also named the overall Premier League Player of the Season by the Sports Mole readers, comfortably won the midfielder award too, garnering 43.4% of the votes.
Fernandes was some way clear of second-placed Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount, who won 17.1% of the votes.
Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne earned 12.6%, while his teammate Ilkay Gundogan was in fourth place with 9.1% of the votes, having topped the scoring as Man City won the title.
Another Man City player, Phil Foden, rounds off the top five with 7.4%.
