Wayne Rooney has jokingly claimed that he dreams of having hair like England teammate Andy Carroll.
The 26-year-old Manchester United forward reportedly spent £30,000 on a hair transplant last year in an attempt to combat the effects of baldness.
Rooney headed home the winner as England reached the quarter-finals of Euro 2012 with a 1-0 win over co-hosts Ukraine this evening. After the game, he revealed the secret behind his success.
He explained: "I used a bit of Andy Carroll's product before the game. He asked me to score a header. Hopefully I'll end up with hair like him."
Roy Hodgson recently compared Rooney to Brazil legend Pele.
