Thursday's Europa League predictions including Manchester United vs. AC Milan

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Thursday's Europa League fixtures, including Manchester United vs. AC Milan.

Ajax vs. Young Boys (Thursday, 5.55pm)

Ajax and Young Boys square off in the Europa League on Thursday night looking to edge closer to a place in the quarter-finals.

While the Dutch giants got the better of Lille in the last 32, Young Boys surprisingly edged out German outfit Bayer Leverkusen.

We say: Ajax 3-1 Young Boys

On the back of their win over Leverkusen, Young Boys will have Ajax's respect ahead of this contest. With that in mind, we expect the home side to raise their level, outclassing their Swiss foes ahead of the reverse fixture next week.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Dynamo Kiev vs. Villarreal (Thursday, 5.55pm)

Villarreal continue their quest to win this season's Europa League with a last-16 tie against Ukrainian giants Dynamo Kiev.

The visitors head into Thursday's first leg having eased past Red Bull Salzburg, while Kiev got the better of Club Brugge at the last-32 stage.

We say: Dynamo Kiev 1-2 Villarreal

Despite their away win in the last round, Kiev know that they can ill-afford a setback on home territory this time around. However, that will only increase the pressure on the Ukrainian side, potentially allowing the visitors to take full advantage on Thursday night.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Man Utd vs. AC Milan (Thursday, 5.55pm)

Two continental giants clash at Old Trafford on Thursday, as Manchester United meet AC Milan in the Europa League, with both sides seeking silverware in Europe as they trail in the wake of local rivals domestically.

More accustomed to going head-to-head at the elite level, this heavyweight last-16 tie pits together a pair of once-dominant clubs, now edging closer to former glories under unfashionable but effective management.

We say: Manchester United 1-0 AC Milan

Reinvigorated by their weekend derby success, United are capable of starving an injury-hit and increasingly inconsistent Milan side of too many opportunities; utilising their renowned pace on the counter to establish a lead in this eye-catching tie.

As their focus may be more weighted towards the still-glowing embers of their Scudetto challenge and even next week's return encounter, Milan may find themselves with work to do in the return leg - particularly if flying full-back Theo Hernandez is not fit to boost their attack from the flank.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Slavia Prague vs. Rangers (Thursday, 5.55pm)

Rangers travel to Slavia Prague in the first leg of their Europa League last-16 tie on Thursday night, hoping to build on a jubilant weekend which saw the Gers crowned Scottish Premiership champions for the first time since 2011.

Slavia Prague, meanwhile, are not to be underestimated having already beaten the likes of Leicester City and Bayer Leverkusen in this season's competition.

We say: Slavia Prague 1-1 Rangers

Despite conceding only nine goals in 32 Scottish Premiership matches, Rangers have conceded 12 times from just eight Europa League games this campaign and will face a Slavia Prague outfit who have found the back of the net 18 times in their last five fixtures.

The Czech Republic side have proved that they can compete against stronger opposition this season and could make if a difficult evening for the Gers on Thursday.

Steven Gerrard's side may have to settle for a score draw, which could be viewed as a positive result if they were to take an away goal into the second leg at Ibrox.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Roma vs. Shakhtar (Thursday, 8.00pm)

Long-time adversaries in the Champions League, Roma and Shakhtar Donetsk meet in the last-16 of the Europa League on Thursday evening, with a place in the quarter-finals at stake.

Led by former Shakhtar coach Paulo Fonseca, the Giallorossi progressed to this stage for the second successive season by winning both legs against Braga - another of Fonseca's former clubs.

Their visitors, meanwhile, dropped into the second-tier competition despite two wins against Real Madrid at the elite level, so now seek to surpass last year's run - when they went on to reach the semi-finals.

We say: Roma 2-1 Shakhtar Donetsk

Roma's exceptional record at the Olimpico this term has the Serie A side firm favourites for a first-leg win on Thursday, with goals almost guaranteed.

Their experienced opponents, though, can use all their hard-earned guile at this level in order to steal what could prove to be an invaluable away goal before the return game next week.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Olympiacos vs. Arsenal (Thursday, 8.00pm)

Arsenal will be praying that lightning does not strike twice against Olympiacos when they kick off their Europa League last-16 tie against the Greek giants on Thursday at the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium.

The hosts overcame PSV 5-4 on aggregate to advance to the next stage, while Arsenal staged a dramatic comeback to dump Benfica out in the last 32.

We say: Olympiacos 1-1 Arsenal

With most of the Arsenal cohort involved this week also turning out in that humiliating last-32 exit last year, they will be desperate to show Olympiacos that they are made of tougher stuff than during the earliest days of Arteta's reign. The hosts' defensive crisis is certainly a point of concern for Martins, but they have no trouble finding the back of the net at home, and we are expecting a closely-fought first leg to end all square - with Arsenal claiming a vital away goal.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Granada vs. Molde (Thursday, 8.00pm)

Granada and Molde square off at this stage of the Europa League with both clubs looking to reach the quarter-finals for the first time in their history.

While the visitors stunned German side Hoffenheim in the last 32, Granada pulled off the shock of the round by overcoming Napoli.

We say: Granada 2-1 Molde

Both teams will have to contend with nerves during this tie, particularly during the first leg as they look to remain in contention ahead of the reverse fixture in Norway. While we expect Molde to net an away goal, Granada have enough quality in the ranks to edge their way to victory.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Spurs vs. Dinamo Zagreb (Thursday, 8.00pm)

Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to stretch their winning streak when they host Dinamo Zagreb in the first leg of their Europa League last-16 tie on Thursday evening.

Spurs have won four games in a row in all competitions, though opponents Zagreb have been in even better form of late, winning eight matches on the spin.

We say: Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 Dinamo Zagreb

Mourinho is expected to make changes to Tottenham's starting lineup with next weekend's North London derby in mind, but the hosts should still have enough quality to see off Zagreb.

That said, the Croatian champions are in superb form and, assuming they field a full-strength XI, they will be tough to break down - as highlighted by the seven clean sheets they have kept in their last eight games.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.
