Team News: Louis van Gaal makes eight changes for FA Cup trip to Yeovil Town

Louis van Gaal makes seven changes for Man United's FA Cup third-round trip to League One Yeovil Town, although Wayne Rooney, Radamel Falcao and David de Gea start.

Louis van Gaal has retained only Wayne Rooney, Radamel Falcao, David de Gea and Chris Smalling for Manchester United's FA Cup visit to Yeovil Town.

Despite having seen a rotated side dumped out of the Capital One Cup by Yeovil's League One rivals MK Dons earlier this season, the Dutchman has made seven changes for the trip to Huish Park.

Having recently recovered from injuries, Rafael and Luke Shaw are given starting opportunities in the wing-back positions, while youngsters James Wilson, Paddy McNair and Tyler Blackett are also included.

Ander Herrera gets a first start in over a month alongside Darren Fletcher in central midfield. Angel di Maria is back in the squad after a spell on the sidelines, but Robin van Persie is rested altogether.

The Glovers, who are bottom of the table, make three changes. Strikers AJ Leitch-Smith, James Hayter and Tom Eaves drop out as Gary Johnson reinforces his midfield, with Kieffer Moore up top on his own.

Yeovil: Steer; Smith, Nugent, Arthurworrey, Twumasi; Ralph, Edwards, Foley, Dawson; Gillett; Moore
Subs: Krysiak, Berrett, Hayter, Leitch-Smith, Inniss, Eaves, Smith

Man United: De Gea; Smalling, McNair, Blackett; Rafael, Fletcher, Herrera, Rooney, Shaw; Wilson, Falcao
Subs: Lindegaard, Evans, Anderson, Lingard, Mata, Januzaj, Di Maria
