Barcelona have revealed that Ousmane Dembele is set for another spell on the sidelines, with the injury-plagued attacker picking up a hamstring issue.
The France international only made his first appearance of the season against Dynamo Kiev on Tuesday night, featuring for the final 25 minutes of his side's 1-0 win in the Champions League, having worked his way back from a long-term knee problem.
The 24-year-old had been in line to make his first La Liga outing of the campaign in Saturday's contest with Celta Vigo.
However, Barcelona have revealed that the World Cup winner has now suffered a hamstring problem and will be unavailable for selection for an unspecified period of time.
"For his part, the first-team player Ousmane Dembele has a strain in the semimembranosus muscle of his left hamstring. He is unavailable for selection and his recovery will dictate his return," read a club statement.
The Frenchman's future at Camp Nou continues to be called into question, with his current deal due to expire next June.
Manchester United, Chelsea and Juventus all continue to be linked with Dembele, who has scored 30 times and registered 21 assists in 119 appearances for Barcelona in all competitions.
