Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that goalkeeper Hugo Lloris will be fit to face Manchester United on Sunday despite taking a blow to the face earlier today.
The French stopper was flattened by Jamie Vardy late on during Spurs' 2-1 victory against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium, which left him bleeding from the mouth.
After receiving some treatment on the field Lloris was given the green light to continue, and Pochettino has now confirmed that he is in line to start against the Red Devils in two days' time.
"Hugo took a knock on his face but he is okay," he told reporters. "He just has a cut inside his mouth but there will be no problem for Manchester United."
Lloris, who has featured 22 times for Tottenham this season, made two vital saves to deny the Foxes, most notably keeping out Riyad Mahrez's effort to ensure that his side took all three points.
