Andreas Pereira: 'Jose Mourinho wants me back next season'

On-loan Granada midfielder Andreas Pereira says that he will form part of Manchester United's first-team squad next season after talks with Jose Mourinho.

Andreas Pereira has claimed that Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho wants the midfielder to form a key part of his squad for the 2017-18 campaign.

The 20-year-old impressed under Mourinho during pre-season, but was sent on loan to La Liga side Granada in the latter stages of the transfer window to continue his development.

Towards the end of August, Mourinho said that he 'loves Pereira as a player', and the Brazilian has revealed that he has been given encouragement that his Man United career is not over.

"Mourinho told me that he likes my style of play a lot and that he liked what I did in pre-season. He wants to see how I play in Spain and then wants me to go back and play for him next season," Pereira told Globo Esporte.

Pereira made his Granada debut in last month's 5-1 defeat to Las Palmas.
