Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has revealed his affection for Andreas Pereira after sending the Brazilian Under-23 international on loan to Spanish side Granada.
It had been thought that Pereira, 20, would push for a first-team spot at Old Trafford this season after Mourinho commented on the midfielder's ability during pre-season.
The Portuguese was unable to find a spot in his squad for Pereira, who has been sent on loan for the 2016-17 campaign, but has hinted that the former PSV Eindhoven youngster does have a future with the 20-time English champions.
"I love Andreas Pereira as a player and I would love to have him in my squad. But he will go to Granada," Mourinho told reporters ahead of this weekend's visit to Hull City in the Premier League.
Pereira, who is contracted to Man United until the summer of 2018, has scored once in 11 first-team appearances for the Red Devils.
