Michael Carrick has insisted that there is more to come from Manchester United following their 2-1 win at Southampton.
The Red Devils picked up their fifth victory in a row on Monday night, moving them up to third place in the Premier League table.
Following a shaky start to the campaign, Carrick now expects the in-form United to push on and challenge for a top-four finish.
"I think we can take a lot of positives because we've been through a lot so far this season, with injuries and player rotations," he told the club's official website.
"With us playing in different formations I think it will help in the long run to adapt in certain games. There's definitely more to come from us, it's all about getting the points on the board and now is the time to carry that on."
United are in action again on Sunday when they host rivals Liverpool in the league.
