Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley claims that this weekend's fixture at Liverpool will be the biggest that he will have played in, if selected.

Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley has claimed that Sunday's match against Liverpool at Anfield will be the biggest game that he has played in at the club, if he is selected.

The Red Devils travel to Merseyside for an emotionally-charged fixture this weekend having not won an away game against their rivals since 2007.

"It's fair to say this would be the biggest game I've played in for United if I'm involved," Cleverley told United's official website. "But it's not just a big game for me, it's a big game for the club and of course there's a lot of focus on this particular match.

"Liverpool haven't started so well so I'm sure this will be like a cup final. Meanwhile, we've won our last three games so we're hoping to build on that. It's important we maintain that momentum. It's a massive game for the team."

Cleverley has featured in three of United's four opening Premier League matches this season.
