Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has intensified speculation that Thiago Alcantara could be about to join him at Old Trafford with a message he wrote on the Barcelona midfielder's match ball yesterday evening.
Thiago netted a hat-trick as the Spanish Under-21s retained their European Championship title with a 4-2 victory over Italy in Israel.
After the game, he passed the ball around the dressing room for his teammates to sign, with De Gea scribing 'Nos Vemos en Manchester', which translates as 'See you in Manchester'.
The 22-year-old has been linked with United as well as neighbours Manchester City ever since it was revealed that he has an £18m release clause in his contract at Camp Nou.
