Clint Dempsey says that Fulham are eager to bounce back from defeat at Old Trafford.

Fulham's Clint Dempsey has said that the club are aiming to bounce back from defeat at Manchester United on Monday night.

The Texan, whose side are coming off back-to-back defeats for the first time since October, admits that he and his teammates want to win regardless of who their opponents are.

"It's important for all teams to get as many points as possible to finish as high as you can come the end of the season," he told the club's official site.

"Getting the win, no matter what, will lift the spirits of the team and will get us that little bit closer to where we want to be.

"You look to playing against the best teams in the league and Manchester United are certainly one of those. Monday is as good a day as any to try and bounce back."

Fulham are currently in 13th place in the Premier League, 11 points clear of the drop.
