Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that some of his key squad members could feature during tonight's friendly encounter against Aberdeen.
The Red Devils have agreed to travel to Scotland for the fixture, which has doubled up as Neil Simpson's testimonial.
Despite the new Premier League season being just days away, Ferguson has admitted that he is considering fielding his players that are not on international duty.
"We've got the internationals on but we've got Nemanja Vidic, Rio Ferdinand, Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs and I'm bringing back some of the old players like Dwight Yorke, Andy Cole, Quinton Fortune and Clayton Blackmore. Then it's all the young players," Ferguson told MUTV.
"Yorkie refused to go unless he was captain and takes all the penalties and corner kicks! We'll go up there with people expecting to see Manchester United at our best and we have a lot of supporters from Aberdeen.
"They travel down on a flight for every home match, I think 120 come down, so we've got fans up there and we want to do well in every game. It'll be nice to do it coming up against my old team."
United begin their league campaign against Everton next Monday night.
