Darren Fletcher: 'Nemanja Vidic will be remembered'

Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher feels that Nemanja Vidic will be remembered as one of the club's best players after he played his last game for the Red Devils.

Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher believes that Nemanja Vidic will be remembered as one of the club's great players.

Vidic played his last game for the Red Devils in their 1-1 draw with Southampton before his summer move to Inter Milan.

Fletcher told the club's official website: "Nemanja's record and what he's won here is second to none. You've seen the response from the fans and I'm sure he'll be fondly remembered."

The 32-year-old won the Premier League five times, the League Cup three times and the Champions League once during his nine seasons at the club.
