Ryan Giggs happy to bide time

Ryan Giggs says that he is happy to wait for his chance in the Manchester United team.

Manchester United midfielder Ryan Giggs has admitted that he is happy to wait for his chance to play, despite a lack of games this season.

Giggs has said, however, that he hopes that Sir Alex Ferguson will pick him for Sunday's vital clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

"I'd love to play in this game," Sky Sports News quotes Giggs as saying. "I have started the last few games we've had at Stamford Bridge and have enjoyed every minute.

"I know it's hard for the manager, there's a lot of players in good form. It's not a new thing for me, not getting in the team every week.

"I have got used to it. I don't worry too much because I know that come the business end of the season I'll be ready, I'll be fit and the manager will use me."

United would go back above Manchester City with victory at Stamford Bridge.
