Ryan Giggs admits that his chances in the Manchester United team will be limited this season.

Ryan Giggs has claimed that he still wants to influence Manchester United's season, despite no longer being able to command a regular starting spot.

The Welsh midfielder has dropped down the pecking order in the midfield at Old Trafford but believes that his role in the squad will be vital come the end of this season.

Giggs said: "With the players we have I don't expect to start every game.

"I am just trying to pick up games wherever I can and influence them like I have done in the past.

"I haven't found it difficult. I want to play and I want to be in the team.

"But I am experienced enough to know that come the business end of the season, the experienced lads will be needed and I will be ready."

The 38-year-old has won the Premier League 12 times with United.
