Manchester United confirm Radamel Falcao exit

Manchester United confirm that Radamel Falcao has returned to parent club AS Monaco after a disappointing campaign on loan at Old Trafford.

Manchester United have confirmed that Radamel Falcao's loan spell will not be made into a permanent transfer.

The Colombian has struggled to make an impact at Old Trafford since his summer deadline-day move from AS Monaco.

Recent reports claimed that the South American striker would not be kept on by the Red Devils, and the club's Twitter account confirmed the stories on Sunday evening.

United ended their campaign with a goalless draw away to Hull in a game that condemned the Tigers to relegation.
