Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini admits that there may be more pressure on his team to win the Premier League title than rivals Manchester United.

Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has admitted that there may be more pressure on his team than rivals Manchester United to win the Premier League title.

The 47-year-old saw his side's seven-month lead atop the league come to an end following defeat to Swansea City and the Red Devils now hold a one-point advantage.

Mancini believes that United's past experience gives them the advantage and bodes well for their chances of capturing what would be a 20th Premiership crown.

"It could be normal that we have more pressure maybe than United because United have stayed at the top for 20 years," said the Italian.

"For them, it is easy. For us, it is the first time. We were only top for seven months."

The Citizens could go top of the league with a victory over Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium this afternoon.
