Roberto Mancini says that Manchester United will be considered "better than" Manchester City until his side win the Premier League.

Roberto Mancini has said that Manchester United will be considered "better" than Manchester City until his side win the Premier League.

City remain at the top of the Premier League table after their 1-0 win over Aston Villa on Sunday and Mancini says that they will only get stronger as players return from injury and international duty.

"To stay on the top with Manchester United and Tottenham, I think that we have to be very strong because United are still better than us," Mancini said.

"United have won everything in the last 10 years. Until we win the title, United are better."

City next face Porto in the Europa League on Thursday.
