Roberto Martinez praises "influential" Marouane Fellaini

Everton manager Roberto Martinez praises Marouane Fellaini's "influential" performances for Manchester United this season.

Roberto Martinez has praised Marouane Fellaini's "influential" performances for Manchester United in the second half of the Premier League season.

The Belgian will face his former club when Louis van Gaal's side travel to Goodison Park this weekend.

The Everton boss told the club's website: "I think Marouane has been very, very influential for Manchester United in the second half of the season.

"His past at Everton will never be forgotten, but, as a football club, we're very much concentrated on trying to get the three points and that's all that matters.

"I think we are looking at a game between two sides in very good moments of form. It's Everton versus Manchester United, not about any individual."

Fellaini moved to Old Trafford in 2013 after five years with Everton.
