Jose Mourinho unfazed by facing world's top managers in Premier League

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho says that testing his managerial wits against the likes of Pep Guardiola and Antonio Conte is 'no different' to past experiences.

Jose Mourinho has insisted that facing off against some of the biggest names in world football with Manchester United will 'not be a problem'.

The 53-year-old returns to Premier League management this coming season after being appointed as the Red Devils' new boss on a three-year deal.

Despite the likes of Pep Guardiola, Antonio Conte, Jurgen Klopp and Arsene Wenger - all proven title winners in the past - likely to be vying it out at the top of the table, Mourinho is confident that his previous experience can be put to good use.

"It was never a problem for me, so to meet Pep at City or [Manuel] Pellegrini or [Roberto] Mancini or whatever, it is no difference," he told The Sun. "I was in Milan coaching Inter and Carlo Ancelotti was there coaching AC Milan.

"I was in Madrid coaching Real and Diego Simeone was coaching at Atletico. I was in London, Arsene Wenger was at Arsenal and there were other top managers at West Ham and Tottenham."

Mourinho and Guardiola will reignite their touchline rivalry on Monday afternoon when Man United lock horns with Manchester City in a pre-season friendly in the Far East.
