Former Manchester United captain Gary Neville says that it would be "a very poor look" for Marcus Rashford if he is unable to break back into the team.

Former Manchester United captain Gary Neville has said that it would be "a very poor look" for Marcus Rashford if he is unable to improve his form at Old Trafford.

The England international has struggled to make his mark for the Red Devils this term, managing just five goals and two assists in 24 appearances in all competitions.

Rashford has entered the final 18 months of his contract with Man United and is believed to be considering his future at the club, with a number of teams keeping a close eye on developments.

The club's interim head coach Ralf Rangnick has said that the attacker will be free to leave this summer if he is unhappy, and Neville has now addressed the situation on social media.

The former Man United captain has claimed that it would be a poor reflection on both the club and the player if the situation cannot be resolved in the coming weeks.

The 24-year-old has only scored four Premier League goals this season and was left out of the starting side against Manchester City last weekend despite the club being without Edinson Cavani, Cristiano Ronaldo and Mason Greenwood.
