Mauricio Pochettino reportedly intends to wait on any possible interest from Manchester City before deciding when to return to the dugout.

Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly in no rush to return to the dugout, instead preferring to wait on possible interest from Manchester City.

In the weeks after his departure from Tottenham Hotspur, Pochettino suggested that he was already ready to take on his new challenge.

Arsenal, Everton and Bayern Munich all emerged as potential destinations, while the Argentine continues to be frequently linked with Manchester United and Real Madrid.

However, The Sun claims that Pochettino is prepared to remain patient due to doubts remaining over the long-term future of City boss Pep Guardiola.

Despite denials from the Spaniard, speculation persists that the highly-successful 48-year-old may be ready to take on a new challenge at the end of the season.

The report adds that Pochettino values taking over at United in the same bracket as their Manchester rivals.
