Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has revealed that he feels "lousy" after seeing his team struggle during the first 10 games of the season.
United sit in mid-table in the Premier League standings after earning just 13 points, and while the former Netherlands coach insists that his side are still in transition, he has admitted that he isn't satisfied with the club's points total.
The Dutchman told reporters: "It's not good enough. I feel myself very lousy for the fans and my staff, but also for the board, because they have a great belief in me, my staff and the players.
"When you have 13 points after 10 games, you are not doing well, but on the other hand we are in a process as I have said from the beginning."
Van Gaal will be hoping that his team can continue their four-game unbeaten run at Old Trafford when they host Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.
