Nemanja Vidic: 'No hairdryer treatment from David Moyes'

Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic reveals that new manager David Moyes has yet to dish out the so-called 'hairdryer treatment'.

Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic has revealed that he and his teammates have yet to incur the wrath of manager David Moyes.

The Scot's predecessor Sir Alex Ferguson was renowned for giving his players the so called 'hairdryer treatment', but the defender insists that his new coach has had no reason to chastise them so far.

"Until now he didn't really have any need to, like you say, hairdryer and shout at players, because at the moment everything is going smooth," The Mirror quotes Vidic as saying.

"The players are training well, and as long as it's like that he won't have any reason to do it. Hopefully it will stay like that.

"The training is different - different kind of routines - which is normal when the new manager comes. Obviously he's brought his staff as well, who have worked with us for two months, and we've got to know each other more. It's all positive - I think we are in good shape."

Moyes tasted defeat for the first time as Manchester United boss earlier this month, going down 1-0 to Liverpool at Anfield.
