Luis Suarez is expected to start for Liverpool for what could be a fierce fixture at Old Trafford against Manchester United on Saturday.

A potentially explosive encounter will take place at Old Trafford on Saturday when Manchester United host Liverpool in a highly-anticipated Premier League clash.

United defender Patrice Evra and Reds striker Luis Suarez are due to face each other for the first time since the Uruguayan was banned for eight games after being found guilty of racially abusing the Frenchman in October.

The hitman is likely to start for the visitors after Kenny Dalglish confirmed that Suarez will shake hands with the defender during the pre-match formality.

Sir Alex Ferguson is likely to recall Wayne Rooney and Ashley Young to the starting XI following their returns from injury in United's 3-3 draw with Chelsea last weekend. However, midfielder Tom Cleverley could still await his comeback from a lengthy absence.

Despite scoring a significant goal at Stamford Bridge, Javier Hernandez is expected to make way for Danny Welbeck, who is likely to lead the line with Rooney.

With Liverpool's Jose Enrique still out of action with a hamstring problem, Martin Kelly could keep his place at full-back, while Jordan Henderson could return to the fold and replace Jay Spearing.

Recent positive performances from Andy Carroll are likely to ensure a spot up front for the former Newcastle United striker.

Current form:

Sports Mole says: 2-1
