Man United crowned Under-21 Premier League champions for second consecutive year

Manchester United Under-21s win the Premier League title for a second consecutive year.

Manchester United Under-21s won their second consecutive U21 Premier League title on Tuesday night by beating Tottenham Hotspur U21s 3-2 at White Hart Lane.

Warren Joyce's team went 2-0 up within the first 17 minutes of the game as Donald Love and Andreas Pereira found the back of the net.

William Miller guided the fightback for Spurs as he scored in the 24th minute, and Joe Pritchard netted a dramatic equaliser six minutes from normal time.

The winner was eventually found for United as Guillermo Varela struck to give the development side an unassailable lead in the title race.
