David Moyes unconcerned by sacking rumours

Manchester United manager insists that his job as Manchester United manager is not under threat.

David Moyes has insisted that he does not fear the sack as Manchester United manager.

In the wake of Sunday's 3-0 defeat at home to rivals Liverpool, some reports have suggested that if United were to exit the Champions League at the hands of Olympiacos tomorrow night, the Scot's days at Old Trafford could be numbered.

However, the 50-year-old gave a defiant response when asked about his future during a press conference this afternoon.

"My future has not changed one bit. I've got a great job and I know exactly the direction that I want to go in. I've got ideas I want to put in when the time is right," he said. "We never discuss my future. This is not a club that works on a short-term vision, it works on a long-term vision."

The Red Devils have lost seven of their 14 matches in 2014.
