Team News: Wayne Rooney back for Manchester United

Wayne Rooney recovers from his groin injury to start for Manchester United against Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford.

Wayne Rooney has returned to the Manchester United starting lineup for their Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur.

The England international striker has recovered from a groin problem and will be deployed in attack alongside Danny Welbeck.

Antonio Valencia and Adnan Januzaj are also given starts for the Red Devils, who will have Ashley Young among the substitutes.

Meanwhile, visiting Tottenham manager Tim Sherwood has made three changes to his side for today's match at Old Trafford.

Kyle Walker, Danny Rose and Etienne Capoue all are in the team, while Paulinho is out with a ligament damage.
