Arsenal injury, suspension list and return dates for Man United: Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli latest

Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash with Manchester United.

Having rediscovered their ruthless ways in Europe, Arsenal bid to subject Manchester United to the PSV Eindhoven treatment in Sunday's Premier League blockbuster at Old Trafford.

Mikel Arteta's team defied their injury crisis up front to make Champions League history on Tuesday evening, becoming the first side to score seven goals away from home in a knockout match with a 7-1 obliteration of PSV in the first leg of their last-16 tie.

However, the Gunners have failed to score in back-to-back Premier League clashes with Nottingham Forest and West Ham United, leaving them a whopping 13 points behind runaway leaders Liverpool at the summit of the top-flight table.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the Gunners' latest injury and suspension news before their showdown with Man United, who drew 1-1 with Real Sociedad in the first leg of their Europa League last-16 battle on Thursday.

Gabriel Jesus

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Gabriel Jesus's last game of the season - and potentially last game of 2025 - came against Sunday's hosts, as the Brazilian suffered a devastating ACL rupture in January's FA Cup third-round defeat to the Red Devils.

Bukayo Saka

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: April 1 (vs. Fulham)

Bukayo Saka should soon enter the final stages of his recuperation from a serious hamstring injury, but there is still no chance that the England winger will return before the international break.

Takehiro Tomiyasu

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Takehiro Tomiyasu recently had to go under the knife to address the knee injury that has restricted him to just one substitute appearance this season, and the versatile defender will also not play again in 2024-25.

Kai Havertz

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: Unknown

Kai Havertz was a victim of Arsenal's mid-season trip to Dubai, suffering a serious hamstring tear that will also keep him out of action until the summer.

Gabriel Martinelli

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: April 1 (vs. Fulham)

Gabriel Martinelli picked up a hamstring problem in February's EFL Cup semi-final second-leg loss to Newcastle United, and the Brazilian is also not anticipated to return until early April.

ARSENAL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Arsenal have no players suspended for this match, and Myles Lewis-Skelly is available for domestic action once more after serving a one-game ban for his sending-off against West Ham United.
