Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed that Marcus Rashford and Jonny Evans will both be available to play in Saturday lunchtime's Premier League clash against Everton at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils duo picked up knocks prior to last weekend's 3-1 derby defeat at Manchester City and were unable to complete the full 90 minutes, being withdrawn midway through the second half, but Ten Hag has said that they will be fit for the visit of the Toffees.
Meanwhile, Rasmus Hojlund (muscle), Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka (both unspecified) are all targeting a return from injury for the FA Cup quarter-final with Liverpool on March 17, but Lisandro Martinez, Tyrell Malacia (both knee), Luke Shaw (muscle), Anthony Martial (groin) and Mason Mount (calf) all remain unavailable for selection.
With no natural first-team left-back at Ten Hag's disposal, either Victor Lindelof or Sofyan Amrabat is expected to start on the left side of a back four, with the former most likely getting the nod if Evans starts again in central defence alongside Raphael Varane.
Kobbie Mainoo was handed his first Premier League start in a 3-0 win away against Everton in November and the 18-year-old is once again set to link arms with Casemiro in centre-midfield, while the inclusion of Scott McTominay will likely depend on whether Bruno Fernandes continues on the right flank or moves back into his favoured number 10 role.
Rashford is expected to start as a central striker, while Alejandro Garnacho – who scored a stunning overhead kick against the Toffees in the aforementioned reverse fixture at Goodison Park – Antony and Omari Forson will all be battling for a starting spot on the flanks.
Manchester United possible starting lineup: Onana; Dalot, Varane, Evans, Lindelof; Casemiro, Mainoo; Antony, Fernandes, Garnacho; Rashford
