Alexis Sanchez's proposed loan move from Manchester United to Inter Milan is reportedly close to being completed.
The Chilean attacker is free to leave Old Trafford before the September 2 European transfer deadline as United look to offload a large chunk of his £505,000-a-week wages.
United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer yesterday confirmed that talks with "some clubs" were still ongoing, and Football Italia claims that Sanchez is close to finalising his loan to Inter.
The 30-year-old is expected to spend a year at San Siro with an option for Inter to make the move permanent for around £15m next summer after both clubs agreed on the terms of his salary.
United are willing to pay a percentage of Sanchez's wages but had been pushing for Inter to contribute a larger proportion, and the two clubs are understood to have now agreed a salary figure of £4.2m.
Sanchez has scored just five goals in 45 appearances for United since January 2017, costing the club around £8.2m per goal.
