Frank de Boer is confident that Ajax can hang on to Daley Blind this summer amid speculation linking him with Barcelona and Manchester United.
The 24-year-old's stock has risen significantly in recent weeks after emerging as one of the stand-out performers in a World Cup which saw the Netherlands finish third.
With Europe's elite reportedly lurking, De Boer admits that everyone has a price, but the Dutch coach remains optimistic of retaining Blind beyond the summer transfer window.
Asked whether or not Blind could leave the Dutch capital this summer, he told AT5: "Personally, I don't think so.
"Everyone is obviously for sale, but we feel that those three players, the World Cup players (Blind, Jasper Cillessen and Joel Veltman), with a few guys in the current squad, should be the water carriers of this squad.
"We want to build a core with guys like Davy Klassen, Stefano Denswil, Ricardo van Rhijn and Ruben Ligeon. All guys who have been at Ajax since childhood."
Blind has a further two years on his Ajax contract.
