Borussia Dortmund 'would rather sell Jadon Sancho than Erling Braut Haaland'

Borussia Dortmund would rather Jadon Sancho left the club this summer than Erling Braut Haaland, according to a report.

Borussia Dortmund would reportedly rather Jadon Sancho left the club during this summer's transfer window than Erling Braut Haaland, with the striker's future again being called into question.

Haaland's brace against Sevilla in the Champions League on Wednesday night means that the striker has now scored 25 times in 24 appearances for BVB during the 2020-21 campaign.

A number of clubs, including Real Madrid, Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea, are said to be interested in signing the 20-year-old, who will have a £68m release clause in his contract next summer.

Sancho also continues to be linked with a move away from Signal Iduna Park, and Man United are still said to be interested in signing the England international.

According to Bild, BVB would be more willing to let Sancho leave than Haaland, but the latter could ask to leave in the upcoming market if Dortmund fail to secure Champions League football for next season.

The Norway international recently said that it was "nice" to be linked with Madrid, although it remains to be seen whether Los Blancos can afford to sign him due to the financial impact of the coronavirus outbreak.
