Eric Bailly is reportedly fearful that he will be sold by Manchester United this summer if the Red Devils complete a deal for Leicester City centre-back Harry Maguire.
The 20-time English champions continue to be strongly linked with a swoop for Maguire, with the club's executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward said to be working on a deal for the England international.
A move for the 26-year-old would leave United with seven central defenders and one is expected to be moved on this summer should the transfer target arrive.
According to The Metro, Bailly is concerned that he will be the player shown the exit as the 25-year-old has only made 25 Premier League appearances over the last two seasons due to injuries and a loss of form.
The former Espanyol youngster missed the latter stages of last season due to a knee problem, which also made him unavailable to represent Ivory Coast at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
Bailly - linked with a switch to Lyon - has been involved for United during their pre-season preparations, though, starting against Leeds United before entering as a second-half substitute in the clash with Inter Milan last time out.
