Radamel Falcao 'agrees terms with Manchester United ahead of summer move'

Radamel Falcao reportedly agrees to a £250,000-per-week contract with Manchester United.

Manchester United have allegedly thrashed out personal terms with loan striker Radamel Falcao ahead of his permanent summer switch.

The Red Devils have provisionally agreed to pay the Colombian £250,000 per week plus bonuses and image rights to remain at Old Trafford in a deal worth £43.5m, according to the Daily Mail.

United are said to be keen to avoid a repeat of the Carlos Tevez incident in 2009, when the Argentine failed to agree personal terms at the end of his loan agreement before going on to join the club's local rivals Manchester City.

Falcao is currently on loan from Monaco, with United due to make a final decision about whether to offer him a permanent contract based on his form and injury record this season.
