Rio Ferdinand interested in move to Queens Park Rangers?

Rio Ferdinand is reported to be attracted to the idea of signing for Queens Park Rangers this summer.

Rio Ferdinand has reportedly welcomed interest from Queens Park Rangers as he prepares to become a free agent this summer.

The central defender will be without a club when his Manchester United contract expires next month, and he is believed to be a target for QPR manager Harry Redknapp.

Redknapp has spoken of his desire to bring in the right characters this summer as the club prepare to return to the Premier League following their playoff final victory over Derby County on Sunday.

According to The Guardian, Ferdinand is eager to work with the manager who gave him his professional debut at West Ham United 18 years ago.

QPR will reportedly face a battle to secure the 35-year-old's services, with reports continuing to link the former England international with a move to China or the USA.
