Fiorentina reportedly consider an £8m summer bid for out-of-favour Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez.

Fiorentina have reportedly outlined a move for Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez at the end of the season.

The 24-year-old has dropped down the rankings at Old Trafford behind summer signing Robin van Persie and England international Danny Welbeck.

While the frontman, who is nicknamed 'Chicharito', has been open about his desire to fight for his place at United, it is understood that Italian outfit Fiorentina are willing to pay £8m and match the striker's £80,000-a-week wages, according to the Daily Star.

Reports have claimed that Fiorentina will try to persuade Hernandez to join them by offering regular first-team football.
