Alexis Sanchez's Inter Milan teammates are reportedly keen for the Chile international to complete a permanent move to the Italian side at the end of the 2019-20 campaign.
The 31-year-old joined Inter on loan from Manchester United last summer but has only made five appearances for Antonio Conte's side due to an ankle issue.
As it stands, Sanchez will return to his parent club at the end of the season, but according to The Telegraph, the South American is a popular player in the dressing room at Inter and a number of the squad want him to remain at San Siro on a permanent basis.
The attacker still has more than two years left to run on his contract at Old Trafford, though, where he is believed to collect in excess of £400,000 a week.
Sanchez joined United from Arsenal in January 2018 off the back of scoring 80 times in 166 appearances during a successful spell with the Gunners.
The former Cobreloa youngster has struggled to show his best form for the Red Devils, though, managing just five goals in 45 outings in all competitions.
