Juventus could reportedly go head-to-head with Barcelona for the signature of Edinson Cavani in January.
The 34-year-old has only made eight appearances for the Red Devils this season through injury and again missed out against Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon as he battles a tendon issue.
Cavani's contract at Old Trafford is due to expire at the end of the 2021-22 campaign, and a recent report claimed that the forward wants to move to Camp Nou in January.
However, according to Tuttosport, Juventus are also interested in signing the Uruguay international during the January transfer window.
The report claims that the Old Lady view Fiorentina's Dusan Vlahovic as their leading target in the final third of the field but will struggle to sign the Serbian at the start of 2022.
Cavani, who has also been linked with a return to South America, has scored 18 times and registered six assists in 47 appearances for Man United since arriving on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain.
