Manchester City are reportedly keen to bring Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland to the Etihad Stadium during next summer's transfer window.
The 20-year-old was strongly linked with a move to Manchester United before leaving Red Bull Salzburg for Dortmund, where he has managed 33 goals in 32 appearances in all competitions.
Haaland is currently on the sidelines through injury but has again been in excellent scoring form this season, netting 17 times in 14 outings in all competitions at club level.
A number of teams, including United and Real Madrid, are thought to be keen on the Norway international, but according to Bild, City want to sign him ahead of the 2021-22 campaign.
A release clause in Haaland's contract - thought to be in the region of £68m - will not be valid until the summer of 2022, though, placing BVB in a strong position when it comes to the striker's immediate future.
Sergio Aguero's contract with the Citizens is due to expire next June, and the Argentina international could leave on a free transfer in search of pastures new.
